When Donald Trump attacks what he calls “the deep state,” he is attacking Americans just doing their appointed jobs, carrying out their sworn duties, serving and protecting our sacred founding documents. And because every institution he is attacking was created and has been shaped by our elected representatives, he is attacking democracy; he is attacking we, the people. We are the deep state he so despises…

For decades now, the classic Made In The USA label has been a symbol of national pride and what’s worthy of our protection and support. Here we repurpose this design to remind the MAGA crowd, in particular, that the groups Trump has been teaching them to hate and regard as freeloading, parasitic Others have been both figuratively and literally an integral part of the fabric of our nation—and all that comes with it. 

Frustrated by gridlock and corruption, increasing numbers of fellow Americans on both sides of the aisle are being tempted by what they see as the promise of like-minded strongman rule. These stickers are intended to remind them this never ends well, if it ever ends at all.
